  4. When I return partner's preferred suit, I play
  5. suit preference as follows:  I play a high card
  6. if I prefer the only other suit besides trumps*.
  7. I play low if I want partner's suit returned or I
  8. have no preference at all.

  10. *A high card shows distinct perference for the
  11. remaining higher ranking suit other than trumps.  The
  12. bottom card shows preference for the lower ranking
  13. suit or no preference at all.  My response is a
  14. judgement call.
